Organized Crime: Long Shadow
Socials
Prototype
This release is an early prototype demo for Organized Crime: Long Shadow, shared to evaluate player interest and gather feedback on the core crime-management loop. It is not the full game yet: content is limited, balance is rough, and many systems are still being shaped. The goal of this build is to test whether the fantasy works: building a criminal operation, committing jobs, managing consequences, and expanding your reach.
Description
Organized Crime: Long Shadow is a crime management game about building a criminal organization from local rackets into a city-wide enterprise.
Start small: find targets, recruit subordinates, run jobs, and turn dirty opportunities into money. As your operation grows, you will build an arsenal of tools, hired muscle, contacts, services, and favors that let you take on bigger crimes and control more of the city.
Every move creates pressure. Dirty money needs cover. Witnesses need handling. Heat can become dangerous. Damaged assets, exposed cash, unreliable income, and legal attention can all turn a profitable job into a problem that has to be solved.
The goal is not just to get rich. It is to become hard to touch. Build connections, expand your influence, manage the fallout, and use the organization you created to stay ahead of the law.
Make money. Make connections. Make problems disappear.
Future
The full version is planned as a broader crime-organization management game about rising from local rackets to city-wide shadow control.
Future development aims to add illicit operations hidden behind legal fronts, with each front offering its own benefits, risks, and problems to overcome. Political and police corruption will become part of the strategic layer, letting you buy protection, bend investigations, and turn influence into survival.
Your network of contacts will grow through the jobs you do for them. Different crime targets will require planning, tools, crew, timing, and different approaches rather than a single universal solution. Your actions will carry reputational and economic consequences, shaping how the city, your crew, your contacts, and the law respond.
As your organization expands, rival syndicates will begin contesting your territory, disrupting your operations, threatening your people, and forcing a battle for control. Their attacks will test everything you have built: fronts, rackets, manpower, contacts, corruption, reputation, and your ability to stay ahead of the law.
